• Honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves
• Served as an Adjunct Professor at several colleges and universities including two distinct Financial Planning course programs
• Previously licensed as Series 6/7/24/26/63/65 with the SEC, a CFP® from 1984-2023 and CPA (public/private/retired from 1980-2023)

Life Outside of MAI 

• Served as Chair of the CFP Board of Examiners and as a member of the CFP Board of Governors
• Served on several non-profit Boards including a position as Treasurer of a nationally recognized museum
• Board Member of United Way Foundation of Indian River County, Florida
